We did a bunch of ‘last minute’ shopping today. Im pretty sure we could be a walking REI catalog. We will begin packing soon, and hopefully won’t have to return too much stuff. They sell 98% DEET repellent… after reading the back, I decided not to get it. I probably should have. Mosquitoes love me, I seem to keep everyone else immediately around me safe, as the attention is all on me.
I bought a Pacsafe day pack that the liner comes out and makes a locking bag. I think its pretty neat, but we will see how well it works. The bag is lined with wire, so its slash proof and it has a cable that can be used to tie around solid objects so it can’t be moved. This means the netbook and camera won’t be stolen, just maybe crushed!
