Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is here!  There is so much that we are thankful for… We are thankful that we have a wonderful set of friends and loving family, even if we are not there with them to celebrate.  We are thankful that we were able to go on this trip and that everything has gone well for us on it.  We are thankful that we are moving South on our trip, so the weather is getting better and better.  Jane is thankful for all the shops that carry shoes, purses and scarves…  Im thankful that many of these shops have chairs.

Thanksgiving feast!

We were able to find a little American restaurant called Southern Belle that was having a Thanksgiving dinner.  They served up a good menu of the classic Thanksgiving fare.

In case you wanted to write 'Turkey' in Chinese.

Don’t get me wrong, I have really enjoyed alot of the food we have tried, and definately enjoy much of the Szechuan cuisine.  However, every restaurant is a crap shoot, and you may be eating something good, or really, really not good.  You would actually be surprised with how much bland food we have experienced.  Our Thanksgiving dinner was actually really good, and tasted like it was a home cooked Thanksgiving meal.  We even got two drinks with it!

The only bad thing about it was that we didn’t get seconds or any leftovers!
